I think your plans sound good man. Just go with a Nelson Tune, and fab up a 3in Y with some of the new hi-flo Magnaflow cats. Then maybe a 2/4 and keep your stock rims, with maybe a 50 series tire instead of the 55 series for clearance. Just my .02......

How and what do you have to do to delete or remove the antennae???
Do you still get the same radio reception without the antennae??
I would like to do this. The antennae actually picks up wind noise that gets amplified into the cab.

sounds pretty sweet but it will all run you a pretty penny, especially if you get a sweet head and cam package but you'd be making good power with a good combination...im a fan of cowl hoods to but after spending a lot on wheels and tires and subs i jsut cant bring myself to spend that much more money on appearance mods until im pretty much done with performance but i know that just me because lots of people like show with their go

I found a Goodmark hood supplier that sells them pretty cheap in Spring.
It was way cheaper than anyone else! Better yet, they keep them in stock.
Then again, I'm not too sure if they will have a GMC hood though. Those are less common. Either way, it will still be the same price if they had to order one in. It's an all steel hood too!
PM me if your interested.
