Default were kind i find power

my overhead console on my 05 gmc had the cubby hole removed to i want to add a gps in its place but need power that turns on with the key i think the lights have power all the time with the motor off
is there a easy access to power ?
could i find power in the review mirror with the key?

Easiest thing will be to use an add-a-fuse in the interior fuse panel on a circuit that is activated with the key (instrument cluster, for example), and then run a wire from that up through the a pillar behind the headliner over to the cubby.

Pull down the overhead cut the harness open dropping to the mirror and hit the pink wire you'll get switched 12V.
