LOL, same here man. Whenever my friends put seatbelts on in my truck I say what you plan on getting in a wreck. Somewhat jokingly of course. Can't control other cars but I sure as hell can control the hell out of my truck.

The way the frontal crash tests work, it is the same as colliding with a vehicle of the same weight both going 35mph. So a smaller car may get a higher rating but it may not be safer. A lot of economy cars have frontal ratings of 5 stars, but that is rated with a collision of equal weight cars. So, in short we should fare fine in an accident with a lighter vehicle. Like stated earlier, only fear dump trucks and semis.
