Ick! The Denali looks much better than the Chevy, but it looks like a Ford. Cough! Gag!

The front end on the Silvy is FUGLY! I'm sure the aftermarket will come up with something to fix it, but why did Chevy make it so ugly in the first place?

I am sooo glad I bought my '06.

The only thing I like better about these trucks is the Denali will have the 6.2 and the 6 speed. I would not trade my truck for one though, not even straight across.

Eh....it's OK (I saw 'em 4 months ago here at the resort when they were doing testing) but I'll stick to the '99-'02 look as still being the best IMHO

ever try to load groceries into an extended cab in a parking lot with cars parked on both sides? it's nearly impossible without continuously opening and closing the doors a few times and it's quite inconvient unloading backseat passengers in the same senerio

When will GM ever get the hint that 4x4 trucks should have more ground clearance than a golf cart.

ruben to tell you the truth the chevys have almost 8 inches of ground clearence as the dodge have 7.3 so the chevys are taller they just dont look like because of something with the frame that makes it easy to get in and out of the truck.

they do look like a mix between throwup, dodge, ford, and nissan. They also look like they are going to weigh a ton. What good will a 6.2L engine do with 380 horse if it weighs 6500 pounds. There is no way that a regular cab will weigh less than 5000 pounds. Okay maybe 4700 stripped bare. Those things look huuuuuggggeee. What a waste of good technology.

I don't think those "inches of ground clearance" matter much off road though. The clearance figures are always the minimum, effectively meaning the lowest point of the rear axle. You won't hit that very often if you're driving intelligently offroad (always put the wheels on taller objects rather than having them go under the truck).

The only place I've ever hit offroad was either the front of the truck (insufficient approach angle) or the middle of the frame (ran out of breakover angle). Both of these points are several inches higher than the minimum ground clearance #.

The new Tahoe, which I think has the same 9" of "ground clearance" as my truck, couldn't make it to a lot of places that I go where I'm not even remotely concerned about my truck's clearance.

If you measure under my truck's front bumper, I believe there's 16" or 17" of clearance. On the Tahoe, there's probably that same 9" figure.
