Talking well got my new truck today!!!

well i just purchased my very first own truck in my name , and it feels good, here are a couple of pics, sorry there not too good, took em with my phone

well its a 4.8 V8, power windows, power locks, got it for 20 grand, think i got a pretty good deal, used my 01 ext silverado as a trade in, got 9200, suprised the **** outta me considering the odometer didnt work, dash was all messed up, the driver side head was messed up, SEs light was on, ABS light was on, so im glad they payed it off and plus gave me 1200 for a down payment, so im really happy with this truck, just wondering, what are some mods i can do that wont void the warranty? i know intake and muffler wont void it but what else? thanks fellas

Awesome truck and deal, i wish my truck wouldve come with those wheels. I would think if you got a new pcm and kept the stock one you could put the stock back one on and go to the dealer if any problems occur.

Put a cold air intake, exhaust and a 75 - 100 hp nitrous kit. If you need warranty work just remove nitrous kit.

Take it back and have them install a 3.73 or a 4.10. You'll be amazed at the difference. Those 3.23's suck! My truck got 4.10's at 1,900 miles and it was by far the best mod I've EVER done to a vehicle. But all I do is city driving so I couldn't tell you how bad the hwy mileage is.

I agree. When I went to buy my truck I test drove one with 3.23s and was disgusted! I got lucky and found my truck it was the last one on the lot with 3.73s.

You should have stripped some of the bolt on's off of yours before trading it in

Ya I was but I figured most of it wouldn't fit a 06, the only thing I'm takin is my subs, radio and 20" rims, o and for everyone else, I had 4.10s in my last truck, about how much will it cost to get it done at a dealership? And will it still be under warranty?
