Default Watched a Silverado HD owner punk out a hemi owner today

I run a chemical and agricultural seed company warehouse and a two farmers came up to the warehouse today. One in a new Silverado HD and one in an extended cab hemi. They were both pulling seed trailers, the chevy pulling the bigger of the two. I asked them how much seed they wanted and the HD driver told me 10 bulk bags, which totals out to alittle more than 20,000 lbs. I Each bulk bag weighs roughly 2000 lbs(actually a little more). I loaded him up and asked the hemi owner what he wanted. He told me he didn't think he could hall that much, so I put 7 bags on his trailer. The HD guy and I was giving the dodge owner hell. The HD owner left out pulling the hell out of the trailer. It was a damn heavy load(20,000lbs of seed plus the weight of that big *** trailer) The hemi guy left behind him and it seemed like it was having a little trouble with the light load. Just thought I would let you guys see what some of the Farmers use their bad boys for.

I think it would be great to see race like that pulling 20K+LBS!

If the HD had the 8.1 in it, it damn well SHOULD have outrun the Hemi.

It's really not a fair comparison unless the Chevy was a 6.0.Asking a Hemi to hang with a 8.1 or Dmax pulling a big load like that is definitely an apples to oranges comparison.

He may be proud of that 6.0,probably pretty easy to be. 30,000# gross he needs a D-max.
