i will ask my brother if he knows anything that you can do, but you need a lawyer.
and also, drive around the dealership with the letters on it, you could even get them to change the oil for you so other customers can see it, just don't make them mad.
But......This is a true story. Buddy of mines dad bought an explorer. With less than 2500 miles, the rearend whined, tranny problems, it smoked, etc etc. In 6 months it was in the shop for over 4 months. I forget now what happened but the dealer finally refused to work on his car anymore. (I will admit hes kinda **** but when paying that much for a car, he wanted it perfect.) He went and got lemon boxes from the grocery store, taped one to the top of the roof, cut the lemons off the boxes and put them on the back windows, went and bought a used set of tires and painted them bright yellow. On the back glass he wrote, I bought this lemon at ****** dealership. He was off 3 days a week and would ride thru the lot and on the road in front of the dealership all day long. Their lawyer called his and told him to stay off the property, which he did. But he continued to drive on the road in front of the dealership. (back when gas was $1.20 a gal.) After 6 months, ford bought his car back and he got some cash for his troubles. I wish now I wouldve took pictures of it.

well today I went and talked to the GM at the dealership. Explained my story to him and acted like a human being to him. He wasn't told of all these problems with this. Also talked to the Head guy at G.M.P.P. and told him the whole story straight to him instead of his assistants all the time. Well with all this running around today I came with some sort of resolution. Monday I am having a meeting with the Sales manager, Service manager, Business manager, Dealership GM, and the Head guy at G.M.P.P.
I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best.

I would be carefull , or at least watch them like a hawk if they do end up honoring the warranty. They could do something else to bring you back later. As every one else said....First take it to the BBB and file a complaint against the dealership. Then call GM and file a complaint with them as well about the dealership, then contact the warranty company and make sure they get the whole story so it's documented. The most important thing here is documentation. The more paper you have to prove your case the better off you are. Finaly, get the dealership to enter your warranty into the system then take the truck to ANOTHER dealership for the repairs. The dealer ship gets paid by the warranty company, no sense letting the bastards that screwed you get any more money. And as always, keep an attorney at hand for the worst case if it happens.

Good luck!

I think you need to ask when the meeting starts if they have an internet ready computer. If they say yes, pull up this thread and tell them that the 68,000+ members of this board and LS1 tech are waiting to see if the correct themselves. Keep us informed.

04chargedSS - the meeting is with Western Canada Regional G.M.P.P. (General Motors Protection Plan) Representative and dealership staff. The Rep. himself is wondering why it took them so long to send in the warranty papers.
