Does anyone have an exhaust clip of a 5.3L with an Edelbrock RPM series muffler? How does it sound? Does it sound similar to the Corsa at WOT? I'm thinking of swappin' out the Corsa for the RPM muffler because I want something louder at cruizing speeds.

 

I do. I running true duals with an x-pipe and Edelbrock RPM series mufflers. Here's two sound clips. The first one might sound a bit different because it was recorded in the garage without any load on the engine. The second one was recorded from the cab while driving. Enjoy.

About the tranny, that's a full Transgo kit with a stock servo, 2 washers and a 2000rpm GM stall. The tranny was completely rebuilt last year by my uncle.

Well I paid around $400 shipped from a guy from this forum about 2 months ago so If I decide maybe around $300 even. It sounds like a beast at WOT but its beginning to be too quiet for me while cruizing around. I'll let you guys know.

 

Sounds pretty quiet. I was thinking about the 304SS version for my TA. Going the TD route dumped. Right now, I have an ORY with a cutout and I like the volume just not the drone. Are these really that quiet?
