I bought one for an old LT1 Z28 a few years ago that failed in 17 miles; turned out to be a fake lol. I had one in my 2000 SS for over a year and it was still good when I sold it. One thing I've read is that a Walbro needs a hotwire kit to get the proper voltage for efficient operation so maybe that would help. I'm looking at getting a pump for my 2001 Silvy and I'm strongly considering an Aeromotive 340 or Walbro 400.
