walbro to bosch switch

Default walbro to bosch switch

making the swap to the 023 pump here are pics of the install.im waiting on 2 fittings from summit since they dont send a barbed fitting with the pump and negate to inform you of this when you order them

according to the spec sheet the 023 flows 168 LPH doesn't the walbro flow 255LPH?

also the bosch pump is the intake the whole bottom of the pump? where is the screen?

this is a chart i found that uses the 044 this is the external pump but the 040 is the intank version.the 023 out does the 040 so it should be gravy.the whole bottom of the pump is the inlet the entire bottom is screened.also that flow is at 5 bar(72.5) and our trucks run at 3.7 bar (55lbs)fuel pressure so flow will be even higher at the lower pressure

also i cut the hump out of the bottom of the fuel cup to get the pump bottom about level where the sock on a walbro sits

pumps in and everything looks good so far also i read alot of places that these pumps are noisey but mine isnt noisey at all with truck running you cant hear it and thats standing outside the truck with my head down by the tank.and my truck is pretty quite.

Do you think it is a good alternative than doing two intank walbros?

Actually it depends on what your running...
Return systems:
Idle fuel pressure should be 55psi (mine is 56)
vacuum line off the FPR and it should be 60 (mine is 62)
If you are FI then your pressure rises with the boost.. 5psi of boost raises mine to ~67psi..

I dont see how that pump is better than the Walbro that flows 255LPH..?
