Damn 03 nice truck that thing like sweet... I love the whining sound!!! You too Vic. Now you guys are making me want to get some cutouts. Do you think if i put some on mine it would be to loud to drive around town. Because I know that once I get them I will probley never want to put the caps back on. And I kind of dont want to spend the money on putting some electric ones.

Thanks. I leave my cutout open 24/7. Ya it is a little loud, and the drone is definatly there, but it sounds so damn good to keep it quiet. The only times I close them up is when I take a girl out, or if I go on a long trip somewhere. I have had both Manual and electric cutout, and I have found that you cant go wrong with a manual unit if you dont mind getting under your truck every once in awhile. The Electric cutout I had had some problems, and the screws that held everything together on the inside started to come loose so the gears werent meshing correctly.

didn't one of you guys (vic or 03GMC) post a pic of your cutouts. I thought I saw it on here. Freakin a, I am going to put some on. But I wanted to see where the location of the cutouts are at. Want to find the best place to put them.
