Well last night, the inevitable happened. The 4L60e turned 3L60e became the 2L60e under my Tahoe as I left the grocery store. Surprisingly it didn't lose 3rd like I thought it would, it lost 1st. So now I have a 2-3 Power Glide as @dantheman1540 calls it

Need to fix the coolant leak on my 6.0 PSD and then I will start on this NBS 6L80 swap this weekend. Not having 1st is garbage. if I thought the truck was slow before... lmao

Bought a rear main and rear cover seal, and bought a torque converter seal for the 6L80, I noticed a weep on mine, prob from the converter hanging on it for a year while the trans sits around

Those will be here Friday, which is probably the soonest I can get the trans off anyway

Not to derail but should I replace my converter seal while I do my rear main on Friday? My trans was rebuilt 3 years ago maybe. Replace it or just leave it? I was thinking leave it

Just replace the trans

I'd leave it I guess. I am only doing mine because I see the fluid on the cart my trans is on

I am on the fence about my rear main, because I have 0 leaks right now. I don't want to make a leak by replacing the RM with a new one, but Murphy's law and ****

I'm just hoping the 6.0PSD lasts long enough to get the 6l80 in because we all deserve a completion to this endevor.
