Just a quick update as to this issue.
I came across this thread yesterday and it was a blessing.
For the longest time, my truck had the underhood/underdash thunk at low speed left turns. 06' ECSB
I took it to my local Chevy dealer at 7am right when they opened yesterday.
The service writer knew exactly what I was talking about and said they do a lot of them.
Anyhow, 45min later I was back on the road.
Quiet as a church mouse now.
Also, I spoke with the Tech that worked on it. He is one of the 9 World class techs that Red River Chevy has, so he knows his ****.
He said to always check the steering bushing also, that mine was quite worn, and they replaced it also. Something to have them check if you have yours done.
