Default turn signal stalk

Has anybody replaced their turn signal stalk? Did you have to remove the steering wheel? I'm adding cruise control is why I ask. Thanks

Damn, I was hoping I wouldn't have to remove it! I've already got the new stalk, i',m just a little bit worried about setting the air bag off

On a side note i noticed you have a 2/4 drop. What brand off drop did you go with and do you have to c-notch? Hows the ride? I want to do the 2/4 drop myself but want to keep the stock ride if possible. The mcgaughys kit sounds like the best for me.

It is Mcgaugys spindles, shackles and hangers, no c notch.... It is a little bouncy, but I have stock shocks.

I wouldnt really worry about setting the air bag off, look down under you dash by your gas peddle/brake peddle and you should see a yellow wire (airbags wires are always yellow) the yellow wire should have a plug in it so you can disconnect it if not it should be right under the steering wheel column cover

You shouldn't have to remove the wheel, just get creative with your torx bit. For example the bit alone and a 1/4 inch open end wrench. I have never removed the wheel for replacing a m/f switch. Also turn steering wheel to allow the most access to the bottom torx screw.
