Truck won't start please help

Hmmm im assuming thats what wrong but i just didnt think it would go without warning. I guess i could always buy a new starter and if that doesnt fix it i can return it. Btw i went and checked the 50 amp fuses and they were all fine. Also thats why i dont want to take it to a shop bc i dont want it to be a simple problem and them tell me i need something i really dont.

Try "tapping" on the starter solenoid with a hammer. Sometimes they get "stuck" and a light tapping will free them up. If that is the case replace it even if it does start. You should also check the wire at the starter to make sure it is getting power.

Switch out the starter thats the same thing that happened to my truck and yes it went without warning worked fine came back out of my apartment and bam no workie. Changed out the starter and was back on the road in less than two hours.

check the 40 amp ignition (ign) fuse under the hood in the fuse box. Ill bet that is where your problem is. It will be one of the big fuses and mine is orange. Pull it out and look at it.

We checked the starter with a voiltmeter and there was no power to the starter. I have checked every fuse they are all fine. We also replaced the starter relay and the ignition relay. That did nothing but waste $16. This realy sucks the truck has been broken since thursday

The only thing good coming out of this is saving gas money.

Mine did something like this not too long ago. Was starting no problem before and then bam, would not turn over or anything.
Tried charging and jumping the battery and still would not start.
I ended up putting in a brand new battery and it worked like a charm.

See if you can swap in another battery just to try.

We had the charger hooked up to the battery and it was charging fine. The charger also has a start feature and even trying that it still wouldnt crank.

i would try this option too--when my tahoe wouldnt start i did this and i fired right up.

I did the same thing to mine, it seemed like it would take the charge but it would even crank too. I know it sounds crazy but it sounds like the same thing.
