truck is slow again

yeah i can def tell the difference, i wouldn't of done it if i didn't drive so much. i loved them in the city......on the hwy the rps were just ridiculous

Not really man. I've thought about doing 3.73's myself and then I decided that it's not really going to make much of a difference. Most of the info was already in my head.

It just kinda makes me laugh that people would sell their truck and lose $4000 on a trade in for a car that only saves them $500 in gas a year. This is the same kinda thing unfortunately just not as extreme.

Hmm, I would have left the 4.10's in but since the swap was only $3 you didn't lose anything. The converter won't hurt milage on the highway and will help with the stop n go driving.

i wouldnt have done the swap, if the gears were not offered to me. its just a little something to help. the stall wont make a difference on the hwy, and will pick her back up.....

yeah i hear ya...if my truck woulda came with anything less than 3.73's when i bought it i woulda put 4.10's in it. But its not worth it to me to spend $500 to swap to 4.10's. Now if I were going to put in another tru-trac i'd prolly shove some 4.10's in while they were in there

Could've just installed larger tires to compensate and maybe would've even picked up some mpg if you didn't go too big.
