I just checked the battery connections again. I did see some build up on the positive connection, but I don't think it was enough to cause it to die.

It died on me twice yesterday. Once on the freeway where the truck shut off and came back on without having to restart with the key. Then in the evening, I was at a stop light. It stuttered pretty bad before it died. It had a little bit of trouble starting back up.

What was going on with the fuse box?
Now that I think about it the problem was on the '07s the radio would constantly reset because of a short in the fuse box. Depending on where the short was in the box it could cause what your talking about, but since yours is an 03 i'd seriously doubt it.

Swap the sensors with the ones on your truck and see what happens. Then your only out time, not money.

I think I have figured out the problem. I installed a Delphi Navigation System like the Escalades have. I bought this from JP Customs, and I just found out that the wiring diagram for the VSS wire was wrong. Basically, the diagram was upside down, so the truck already had a VSS wire and I put a second one in. That is why the truck would randomly die.

Thanks all.

I had a friend speak with GM. They said to unplugged the navigation and drive around until it dies or for 2 months. I really hope this is it.
