My $.02

I went to the SBSO to watch some bad *** LS1 cars/trucks run and to tow a buddy of mine and to hang out with guys from the shop. Now Im the ONE V8 truck out there going 16s. I know Joe and hes a good guy me and my gfs truck is not fast and never will be because im not into racing a Truck that heavy. I ran the truck because i dont mind bracket racing and there was money to be made and I dont have the money to purchase a F-body at this time. If others dont like watching bracket racing so what that doesnt mean **** to me. Ill still run the class no matter what i race so I can have fun not them. I know for a fact the truck can go faster but i dont give a damn about going fast when im bracket racing im just gonna cut a light and stay as close to my dial in and take some of the prize money home.

I'm with Chingy .. you should have brought the floor, strapped your twin size 'cream' stained bed to the floor before you towed it down there with your Jeep and showed us all how to make some 11 second runs. Since it has a bed ... it's a truck .. right???

You do have more power on the floor than we will ever see. And by that you are 110% right ... we will NEVER see you with that much power. Go ahead .. make a lyer out of me. I'd be happy for you if you did, but the way things look, it's not gonna happen.

Sorry dood .. I came on strong .. but you could at least back the truck guys ... and not criticize us like the car guys are doing. Especially since you didn't even participate.

I heard that Slow just blew his H/C 5.3 of course...now he can't run it...what a surprise!!!
Maybe he'll throw in one of the several 6.0s he's got laying around on the floor
Soon...as in never

well my take on the whole thing is that it is unfortunate that some people find truck racing boring and would rather go use the head than watch. we had some similar disgruntled people at thunder shootout. mainly over our street tires. hmm, most of the bracket class was on street radials, but i didn't hear any complaints about that. anyway, we can't please everyone, regardless if we all were 12 sec trucks or not, someone is always gonna come up with another excuse to say we shouldn't be allowed. just keep participating and overlook ignorance. as 01thunder said, give us some more time and a few more goodies and you will see more people running low et's. oh yea, i towed a 26 foot camper, big atv and all the gear plus raced at thunder, as much as i like f-body's, lets see one of them do that.
