You guys know I was just kiddin' right?
I will support the truck racers even when I eventually get a car to play with. And for the time being, I will race any car or truck that steps up to me in the silvy and beat a majority of them.
Truck racers kick ***!

I doubt my slicks and jack would even fit in a f-body. Then where would I put the tent shade and the helmets, oh I almost forgot the ice chest, and tools. LOL I think at this point making the car guys mad is the BEST reason I have to go and race!

gotta figure as much from you. anyway, i think you need to step it up on the nitrous and get into the 11's with the 5.3. look at it like this, if it blows, that gives you more reasons to get a 6.0. you can always borrow my sponge bob mobile if an unfortunate engine failure occurs.

I also have a 00' Z28 M6 as most of you know, with a TR224 cam and a bunch of bolt ons. Yes its faster than the truck, but it doesnt have that cool factor you get racing the truck. I still have some plans for more mods on the Z28, but my truck is getting most of the attention for racing. My cars best 1/4 was 12.1(N/A) vs. the trucks best 12.89(with street tires and the 225 shot). I could hit 10s very easy in the car, but i dont want to, ITS BEEN DONE!!!!. I want to hit 10s in the truck, it hasnt been done, YET. Even though i own a modded F-body, i will never like it as much as my truck.

If I find and buy an f-body,and I'd like to, I'd still race the truck.I can go buy a new one. But a super nice SS or Ramair Ragtop would be worth saving, they aint makin' no more of 'em.It would have been nice to garage one in '69. Factory power wars never last long enough.

yea, i am not a spring chicken by no means, but when my dad tells me of the muscle cars he used to own, i am in awe. only to have one would be the shiznit. he wasn't brand specific. he had'em all. but if the money was right. a 02 SS camaro would look good in my garage.....of course the truck would get the mod money. car would be good for me as is.

I bought my car in Sept. for the gas millage, and ended up spending almost $4k in the engine within the next week. But my true loved will always be my truck. I should have spent the money on it. But i was drunk then too,l like now. See a pattern here? thats what you get from the navy.Hahaah

Its funny how the people with cars think its boring to watch trucks run. I get more people coming up to ask what I have done to the truck. I get more attention with my truck than I ever did with my car. I don't make my truck faster for other people to admire, its just fun for me to be able to see how fast I can make it run! For the people that were bored with the trucks at SBSO, I had several people come up to me to see what was done to it. The only cars that really irritate me are the loud fart canned imports, but I don't say they shouldn't be running at the track.
