Default Truck Guys, guess what I bought today...

A Polaris Sportsman 800 EFI V-Twin I'll post pics of it later on tonight. It's red and black and even has stock dual exhaust on a 4-wheeler! It's stilll in the crate and they have to assemble it, but I should be able to pick it up today. It's huge! I went to the polaris dealership looking for something like a 400 Sportsman, when I was looking I thought I seen a 800 on one of them. I thought the 700 sportsman was the biggest Polaris made, they said that the 800s have been out for 4 or 5 months. My notes are only $99 a month at a fixed apr of 9.9%. They also have a special on certain 4x4s that allows you to buy a $450 wench for $50. I'm excited as hell. I just hope this damn thing fits in my truck. I'm sure it will, but it'll be pretty tight. Any tips on how not to hit my back glass, like placing something between the 4-wheeler and the bed of my truck? Thanks!

A stock tire works well. Get bigger tires. I'll add you tot eh call list when we go riding in Lngview if you want.

I think I may still have your number in my PM box, I'll have to double check later on.

Tires ... get some with new rims too so you can swap them out between trail and mud riding.

Thanks! I'll take a picture of the rims, They're studded/bolted to the tires because of the torque I'll wear these out and then probably get a new set later on.

Your not gonna wear 4-wheeler tires out to easy. Just buy a new set of wheels and tires and have a backup set. Your truck is fixing to get jealous Richard. Whatever you do dont got to High-Lifter they will suck you in and kill you pcoket book mucho $$$$$$

What I did when I got mine is added most of the accessories I wanted into the financing-Wheels,tires,lift,exhaust,intake, and jet! Those 800s are crazy big like a small truck!

Better buy a trailer, those Polaris's are wider than most four wheelers, not to mention that even a light front end collision could send the ATV through the back window.

Tiger, you ride as well? WE go riding out at Fun Wheeler a lot, when the weather's not to cold but not to hot either. I don't like riding without my chest waders though.

You will want the big tires if you ever go out there. Stock tires won't cut it.

I agree ... get a trailer, my Griz won't fit in the back of my truck.

http://atv.polarisindustries.com/atv...9-4320F413D956
Wheelbase 50.75/128.9 in/cm
Turning Radius (inside tire) 76/193 in/cm
Dry Weight 765/347 lbs/kg
Length/Width/Height 81x46x47 / 205.7x116.8x119.4 in/cm

I'm use to quads that weight 350-400 pounds. That damn thing is over 750lbs!!! Do they even make ramps that hold that much weight? With it fully loaded with fuel + rider it'll be close to maybe over half a ton!
You'll definitely need a trailer and a big wench for that one.
