trouble code help

Default trouble code help

check engine light came on a few days ago. i went to autozone and got the codes p0171 and p0174 . both turning toward running lean. anyone with any additional input would be nice.

Well, it could actually be running lean, or you could have a vacuum leak, or unmetered air getting in, plus it's always possible that the MAF is coated in oil from the CAI and giving a false reading. MAF's are known for throwing lean codes.

problem solved im an idiot the volant intake tube came loose. so yea talk about unmetered air. took a little bit for the check engine light to turn back off but it finally did. thanks for replying.
