You will have to cut that part out and use the gauge's light source.

Get Wilde Racing's Autometer gauge from him. They do look good installed.

what over lays are on your gauges and thats a fantome autometer trans temp right.

How in the hell did they get that guage to fit in there Did they have to cut a hole in the cluster guage for this to fit?

hey guys here is a steb by step way to install the guage..
I installed this guage on OneFx4's (formaly 02 Denali) truck a while back.
I also have one in my truck..
If you follow these instruction it should be fairly simple..
should take about 2-4 hours depending on how well you are with tools..

Hmmm I just noticed this was done on pre 03' gauge cluster. The spot on mine is not complete circle, more like a 3/4 moon shape. Not sure if I will have enough room for the temp gauge to fit. Guess I will have to find out.

No it wont fit in the 03 and newer models.
I tried to do this for another member on here, and there is to much electronic crap behind where it needs to go, that it would cause a major problem.
