I raced a sc harley on the way home from work. First, we went from a 60 roll and he pulled on me about 2 truck lengths to about 90mph. Then, we went from a 30 roll. This time he did not honk and would not go. So I figured he was giving me an edge. I was going to call this time. Well without honking, I just took off from my truck's sweet spot and still he pulled like 3 truck legths to about 100mph. I know this Harley was no where near stock. Sad thing is I have lost 2 races in a row. OH well.. you lose some win some. I will take this as motivation for more mods.....

 

how fast are the s/c harleys supposed to be? i saw one at the track stay with a lightning but i heard someone say it had a pulley on s/c and chip. i have always tried to race one but they all turn off. either bad luck or they're scared.

 

there was one at hrp last friday running 14.80 and 14.90's with exhaust.

 

I've never tried a Harley,but I'm 3 wins to no losses with Lightnings.

 

hahah carefull sharkg there is one badass modified Harley ive seen at the track its one of those 100th anniversary ones black on silver i dont think it has the original motor since the sound of the exhaust sounds too much f@uckin mean

 

BTW:that truck blowed something off that day at the track it had to have been a head or something cuz it bearly moved when floored it......on its way half the track lots of smoke came of the truck.....and on our way out it was over by our local track exit still smoking

I think stock they are high 14's.

I raced one from 70 to 110 mph in my OBS 99 Tahoe and he and I were even but then he pulled 2 on me around 100mph. My guess is that I was racing a barely modded one.

Rob Raymer's H-D truck went 12.8@105mph with mods.
