Really? I always thought having true duals gave you more hp but did rob some torque because of less back pressure.

What are you expecting out of this truck? I mean you say you want more power and stuff, but compared to what? To get the speed or feel of power that the TA had, you're gonna need to spend a few thousand dollars. If you just want the truck to pull its own weight around a little better I'd get a small converter, bolt ons, tune, and 4.10s

But thats still $$$$

To tell you the truth i don`t really know. I just hate having anything stock and want some more power. I guess i`m just looking for some cheap ways to get some more power and i figured headers exaust and intake would get me started kinda cheap and i know its not gonne have the speed or power that the car had without dumping some serious coin into it. i`m just looking for some cheap stuff that i can do to it to give it some more *****. The thing is i usually do all my parts buying over the internet because its cheaper and i don`t even know where to start looking for parts for this truck. I guess what i`m asking if you guys have any favorite websites that you buy parts from?

Check the sponsor sites. My truck is lighter than yours (it's 2wd) and only ran a 16.12 @ 87.38 on a cool day at about 700 ft elevation. A good tune added to what you mentioned might give you 7 or 8 tenths quicker 1/4 mile et than stock.

Read/search the forum and see what you have to do to get these sleds moving.

I'm the token spokesperson on here that advocates if your gonna spend anything more than $1K in mods or plan to in one year than the first thing you need to do is get a 6L. That is the first mod you should do, imo.

WOW! i just ripped off the muffler and put a piece of straight pipe in place of it and just WOW! these little 4.8s have a mean growl to them and it really woke up the truck to. I think it actually sounds better than my TA did. Now i can`t wait to get my headers and cool air intake! I gotta say i`m pretty impressed.

Ok i just ordered a cool air intake off ebay. But my question is should i get a tune with just having the exaust and cool air intake on or should i just wait until i get my headers to get the tune. Would it even be worth it to get it tuned with just the intake and exaust done? Also ive got one of those tornado intake things laying around and was wondering if that would make any difference in horsepower. I`m still kinda skeptical on them but has anyone else noticed a difference with them installed on there trucks?
