I have 4.10's in my 2005 1500 that are 3 weeks old they are just too low for me.I am looking for someone around spring tx that wants 4.10's and wants to swap there 3.42's email is jtdhill@sbcglobal.net

 

question is why, if for gas mileage i got better mpg then with less gear

 

I like to cruise 80, with 4.10's I'm at 3000 rpm's

I got a set of 3.23's in my truck now and really want 4.10's let me know man. these are great highway gears i'm just headed for 1/4 mile not gas mileage. hell at 80 with a 30 in tire i'm only running 1900 rpms. i've got a personal best of 27mpg with a 5.3

If you have drum brakes we can swap complete rears and require no install time. let me know man. PM me and we can swap complete rears

 

thats odd cause around that speed i was only around 2500. and last i checked thats way over the speed limit cruising
