no slips or displays yet, but they were calling out the times, the only one i heard was a 8.36, thats about what i would expect with some wheel spin.

i will have some true 1/4 mile slips at a track with some grip(i hope) on the 29th.

bigtex, you better get that thing to the track soon if you want to be the first z71 with an official 12 sec slip <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> . what exactly are you workng on anyways? a HO 6.0 with nitrous? you doing any headwork? that thing should run hard.

 

Basically the same thing I have now except with the HO 6 liter LQ9, different cam, more compression, minor head work, more nitrous, better tuning, Yank converter, new tranny, better traction, and I think I'm going to have a black grill bowtie instead of the stock gold one.

woa! this one(video) is going to test the limits of my band width. my service provider says i only get 300mb of transfer per month. i am not sure if that is per screen name or per acount but in just 2 days that video has hit 1000mb or about 260 times. they havn't shut it off yet <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> .
