Default track video

http://members.***.net/parish888/mamnight.MPG

had a great time at the track last night. eveyone else hated it. this was the grand opening of an 1/8th mile track in my area and the place really wasn't finished. there was alot of dirt and even some mud in the staging area and it was geting up on the starting pad, also it was a new pad, no rubber down at all.

not trying to say i am the fastest on the planet or anything but out of 200cars or so the only 2 that i think could have beat me last night were the jet car(wow, loud), and one rail car that was down there. it was awsume, i wish i could have raced everyone there just to see if i was the fasest. i am sure i would have goten beat by alot of them if they could have hooked.

they didn't have the timing boards running yet but were calling out the times, the only one i heard was a 8.3, i should have been in the 7.99 area but i was loosing traction just like everyone else, just not as bad.

let me know if this comes out as wide screen(stretched out cars), anyone know why it would do that, when i convert it from a huge avi to an mpeg it goes to a distorted widescreen.

Yep...widescreen for me. In fact, all of the videos that you have done are that way. Do you have Windows Movie Maker on your pc? That is what I use...converts it to wmv format and compresses it pretty small.

Nice runs by the way...I take it you were spraying?

It seems to only be in widescreen mode when the zoom setting is set to 50, 100, 200%. When in "full screen" or "fit to window" mode it seems fine. I'm using Windows Media Player 8.0

It doesn't matter. Just seeing the truck kicking a$$ is good enough. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
