Why couldn't you try a 4 wheel burnout in the water? I've never seen it done, but I've also never seen a 1K ft-lb 4wd truck.

With water you could for sure do a 4 wheel burnout. **** my Denali is awd and it will. I am not pushing anywhere close to your HP numbers and I am heavier. It did a awd burnout in the water pits with my 20's on.

ya, i dont think theres a problem with burning out in 4wd... hell, he can burnout on the dyno (which isnt easy to do), lol jk. I just dont think he wants to break anything... theres so much more power than before and the driveline might not stand up for too long... but we'll see. Good luck Jim and get the video up soon

Id be worried doing a 4wd burnout Ive gotten on gravely pavement in 4wd and gotten all 4 spinning and you cant control it the whole vehicle lifts up and moves sideways. But Im sure parish is alot more familiar than any of use with spinning 4 wheels. The staging lanes are just too small also. You could always burn the back 2 way past staging like the top fuel guys do then lock in 4wd and give it a couple jolts to make sure its in when in reverse.
