God knows what they're gonna charge for that thing... $50k + just beacuse it says "SHELBY" on the back (don't get me started on Fords use of Carrol Shelby's name lately)
Look at it this way:
C6 Covette NA w/ some mild mods = Faster than new GT500 mustang w/ supercharger
C6 Corvette + supercharger or turbo = WAY faster than any mustang out there
C6 Z06 w/o mods = bye bye ford boy!
Chevy may not be putting out alot of high HP performance vehicles lately, but I think they're coming around (T'blazer SS is a good start) and they're doing it naturally aspirated! Lets see the blue oval beeotches put up numbers w/o blowers bolted onto everthing.

I'm a big fan of GM cars. In fact, that's all I've ever owned save for the Fairmont that my grandmother gave me as my first car. I will say just a couple of quick things, but I'll put on my flame suit first.
1) I don't like the styling of those Camaro concepts. Some of them look okay, but I don't think that they'll transition well into production. They're too cartoon-ish looking to me.
2) Who cares if they're N/A or supercharged? They still put down gobs of power. I agree that the C6 should be faster than this GT500, but the Mustang should be good for solid 12's all day long.
3) IF the price stays under $40k like has been rumored, it will be QUITE a bit cheaper than a Corvette. If money were no option, hell yeah I'd drive a C6. But if the prices are accurate, I could almost buy a GT500 AND a used 03 Cobra for the price of one C6.
Regardless of whether you're a Chevy guy, Ford guy, Mopar guy, or hell even import guy, you have to admit that Ford is raising the bar when it comes to building peformance-oriented vehicles.
