Crows foot you can get at Sears or any auto parts store. Snap On makes ps pulley tools...Lysle specialty tools at any auto parts stores makes tools for fuel lines, heater hoses and lots of other purposes. You can also borrow tools at auto parts stores.

I don't have any part numbers.

I've bought a bunch of tools on the net...SJdiscountTools has some good prices. Certain special tools, like OTC stuff, I've gotten from them. 3-Jaw harmonic balancer puller, torsion bar unloading tool, Stinger engine stand, etc. Lisle makes a bunch of specialty stuff as shandy mentioned, and can be found at most parts stores. For sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc., you could go to SnapOn.com, but be prepared to dump alot of cash. Best bet is probably to stop by Sears and hit the tool section and go hog wild (my wife just walks away when we go to sears now and we enter the tool section...I can hang there for hours. She just says "I'm going to look at shoes or something, see ya later" lol).

I got my valve spring compressor from Vinci...it's the one that does 2 at a time and it's totally awesome for doing springs while the heads are on the vehicle.

I've also found a few things on e-bay...engine cradle (that I had to modify to fit my 6.0), engine hoist (I think, can't remember), and a few other things.

When it comes to tools, don't buy junk...you definitely get what you pay for in the tool department. If you're looking for air tools, make sure they're made in USA, evey foreign air tool that I've ever had has sucked and failed on me. Ingersoll Rand makes good air tools that are priced well, and you can find their stuff both on the net and at Sears. I have a bunch of SnapOn air tools also, but like I mentioned before, you really pay out the **** for their stuff.

Good luck and happy hunting!

Hell Yeah!!!!!! I just didn't want to buy lets say a cows foot harm/bal puller form sears and the main bolt that screws into the crank, isn't metric. Or just the wrong size. I was just wanting to buy the certain tools that I need, keep them in the tool box and use them when needed. I don't want any suprises when I'm doing my mods. That sucks when you get started and have to run to the parts store in the middle of something.

Thanks fellows!!

Remember you can borrow specialty tools from Auto Zone, etc. You might have to buy something though.

You can also buy all kinds of tools from Harbor Freight or Northern Tool ans Equipment. The thigs is most of it will be Chinese. I don't think their quality of mfg and QC is as good as domestic. It's more luck-of-the-draw:some of it's good and some not so good.
