And I can't wait to get it to the track! The tranny is happy with all of the forward gears for now, just no reverse. Got the NX MAF kit working (more info on this later ). I had no idea what difference 100hp makes! WOW!

I have to say that I'm VERY impressed with the M&H DR's and Caltracs. I sprayed it at about 15-20mph, in ~40-50* weather w/ 30-something PSI in the tires, and it just hooked and was gone. On the street!

The Yank converter is amazing...just like a stock converter at low speeds, but the stall seems to be dead on target, and holding more RPM after the shifts is awesome!

The truck just pulls like a freight train. This combo should work well at the track when it reopens in a few weeks. I really wouldn't doubt it if I see some really low 12's on the bottle. Maybe a little better. Who knows.

Gainesville officially reopens the 28th for a 10a-4p daytime test-n-tune. I'll have the truck there for that. There's a private track rental on the 14th that I tried to get in on, but it filled up fast.

nice, i might have to hit up the track in old blue if all goes good with the house and all. yes i'm moving down there. the house was suppose to close on the 21st of dec. but with paperwork f'd up and other b/s it keeps getting pushed back and the sellers are furrious and want to back out. hopefully i'll know by this friday if i have a house or not.

Hopefully it'll last that long. The NX MAF kit solenoids are good up to a 200 shot. Lessee....forged 408, upgraded fuel system, 200 shot...

 

Hmm, I'm looking around and see that some folks are getting high 12's w/ good short times and 325-ish HP. Wonder where I'll be with ~425 or so?! Man, this is KILLING ME!

Yeah, I forgot it's been awhile since I've been hanging around. I've been so frustrated with the truck that I just didn't feel like reading about 'em.

4L80-E swap, Trans Go HD shift kit, Yank TT3200 converter
4.11 gears, Eaton posi, T/A girdle
Cal Tracs
NX MAF kit (100 shot)
275/55-16" M&H drag radials
3" true duals w/ x-pipe & 40-series Flows

I'm tired, but I think that's it. I'm really hoping for 11's, but we'll see.
