took advantage of the rebates, good deal i felt. happy!
bought Jill (my fiance) a brand new 03 yukon today. with the crazy rebates on 03s and rising interest rates, figure "what the hell" pretty nutty. nice ride, she likes it. 5.3L motor makes it bearable to pass on the highway. it is that dark blue (real similar to a navy metalic blue). it is her vehicle, i am sure she will upgrade to a denali soon . now i gots to look for something for myself. sticker (MSRP) was 41,3xx and i got 4000 in rebates + a ton off list + GM card (700 bucks) = 29,995 before tax (in FL we pay tax when we put tags on it in a month). she loves it, great kid hauler, now just need to work on the kids part
all kidding aside, real smooth. 4wd, all the goodies, dual climate control, pimpin upgraded stereo, etc etc. not bad for a dude that just sits around all day on someone else's couch
to my payments!

I hear ya on the rebates and stuff. With the big rebates, low interest, and end of the model year, this is definitely the time to buy!
I bought my truck last month for a similarly crazy low price. I wasn't in the market for a new one, but when I compared buying a new one to a truck that was 2 or 3 years old, it didn't really make sense to buy a used one.
