These are some Falcon tires that the guy at the store mentioned.

These are the Hankook tires that were being talked about a little bit ago.

I don't remember hte exact sizes, but I know they were different for the front vs rear.

I'm also open to other suggestions.

BTW, my rims are 17x8

I'd rather stick with a more performance oriented tire ... I need something that's going to hook on the streets. I'm not expecting miracles, but as it is now, 1/2 throttle from a light will roast them.

the pirellis are a nice tire. They are however a hard compound tire that dont hook as well as the Hankook's

These are the tires I'm running on my 17s.

They handle really good, but like the other ones that have been posted, they are made of a harder compound and don't hook well. This is my second set, and I've gotten alot of miles out of them. My next tire will be the top level falkons on some 17x9 rims. My buddy has an older truck with the similar setup and he hooks hard on the street.

I can't remember exactly what model number it is, but I'll check it out tonight when I see the truck. He owns a tire dealership, so I know where to find him. I'll post back up with the ones he is running.

Hankook's are very well made tire's for the price. I have some Hankook 245/40/20's on my truck. They wear like iron which you know mean's I have very little traction out of the hole. But they handle great. I'm in the market for tires myself right know and I'm diffently am going to go with the Hankook's this time on the front but something else out back....Maybe some G-force or..what do you guy's think?

I like the toyo proxes, I just had to order 2 more, but this is the 3rd time I got them. They hook up great, not sure if the have them for 17inch rimes, but I have 16s and they cost 135 each.
