Default Time for pads

I need new front brake pads. My truck is a daily driver and every weekend I tow with it. Loads consist of 20ft goose neck loaded with horses or four wheelers, and 18ft bumper pull loaded with four wheelers. I would like to keep brake dust to a minimum, but really want a good all around pad. My truck still has the factory brake system. What suggestions do yall have? I've looked at EBC yellow, but clueless when it comes to brakes. Pep Boys suggested Akebono ProAct Premium Ceramin (Part # ACT785), Oreilly suggested Wagner ThermoQuiet (Part # QC785). Any help? Thanks

I think the EBC green pads are probably better suited for what I need.

Ok. Well I went with the Green pads, and I already put them on. They seem to grip pretty good. All my old pads I took off were in good shape, except one. The inside pad (pad closest to pistons) on driver side was wore smooth. Any ideas why this one was so bad but the others were maybe 50%?

I haven't even had these new pads on a week yet, and the brake dust is terrible. Is this normal? Will it taper off? Are the green pads just that bad? I got the EBC Green Stuff 6000's for my front. Going to put the 7000's on the rear next week.

Yes EBC green's are dusty. I run them too, and no they don't get better over time its just the way they are, I believe the 7000's are the "low dust" version or something like that.

As for the uneven pad wear it might be a sticking caliper, may need a rebuild or a good cleaning/greasing/anti-seize.
