I got my truck on the lift one day and found all kind of crap to cut out from under it. I cut out the large head shield that follows where the stock muffler setup used to run. Also cut away several different brackets/etc used to hold on the old setup. Removed the spare and all of the parts used to hold it in. The passenger airbag was heavy as hell. It surprised the hell out of me how heavy it was for its size. It got chunked in the garbage.

I have cutouts right after the collectors on both sides so the rest of the exhast is just dead weight. all the jack BS is out. the spare lift is still in, I guess it could go. the spare is in the bed with a bicycle lock LOL...

I've done it to my last 2 trucks, the carpet usually comes out looking almost brand new! You have to hang it over a fence, or something, to let it dry completely for a few days. Just an idea.
