I used a chisel to knock the pressed edges off the balljoint and it pressed right through. I would show you a picture of what im referring to, but photobucket sucks the *******

LOL- yes it does. I think I know the flanges you're referring to. Just saw a video where they grinded'em off then pressed the BJ out...........

OK- everything's rolling along, even got the right pitman arm, the 4 spline. Thing is I get it to seat then I put the nut on the stud and it's tougher than a MOFOI wonder if I'm not doing something right........

Did you mess up the threads getting it off?

Are you saying its tough to thread the nut on without making contact with the arm, or is it tough to snug the arm up? Aftermarket arms don't seem to go as high up on the threads as OEM did. I could barely get the washer and nut both on there

Threads are good, I wonder if the splines might not be lined up- gonna check that. Seemed to start going on nice and good, tap seated it a bit so it would stay up there started to tighten, got tighter pretty quick then that was it. I'll snap a pic.........

Just wiggle it up as far as you can, then snug the bolt to seat it. Torque to spec. The arm won't go all the way up to that seal, it will have a gap
