Default throttle response

how do you gain better throttle response on a automatic 4.8 vortec engine? Ive got headers, programer and a cold air intake but im looking to make it better. Also are throttle body spacer worth buying?

You will have better luck with a tune from a sponsor vs. Your programmer. Sell your programmer, and put that money towards a tune. Plus most of them offer free tunes if you make changes to your vehicle.

^^^^ Agreed You are leaving a lot on the table now. I have a programmer but But I am special! Non factory pcm. Allows for multi tunes for research and development. So when My borrowed time is up with this PCM. I will do a modified race tune and a modified DD tune. THe programmer is a fancy multi gauge. As the programmer whould be more of a Detuner!

Only if you need something to keep papers from blowing off of your desk, or if you're going to tap it for a Nitrous nozzle.

Follow this advise, and do not waste your time with a TB spacer they are useless.
