Default for those of yall with pacesetter lt's

i have an 07 classic 5.3...put in the lt's but THREE of the damn spark plug boots are touching the header tubes....the engine would misfire and i know that was the problem cuz i tied some wire to the boots that were touching and pulled them back enough to where they wouldnt touch and misfire went away COMPLETLEY.....and i know that pacesetters are a common mod so i was wondering if anyone else had this problem????

and if so, what were yalls solutions???

thnx in advance fellas

either use the protective socks or you can get some taylor wires. the boots are shorter on the taylors. mine don't touch at all.

The socks are very affordable, $30 delivered to the house, and more than a few colors to chose from.

That's good that you don't have a problem. I did have the problem and the answer didn't break my life savings....

Preventative is not a bad thing either.
