Ok guys here is the final deal.
We will meet at the San Jacinto Battleground.
coming from I610 head East on 225
Exit Battleground Rd.
Turn left and go over the freeway overpass.
keep going striaght untill you come to a fork in the road.
Stay in the left hand lane and take the left fork.
Enter park
this will bring you into the entrance to the Battleship Texas.
It will be on your left.
turn left into drive for the Battleship, and continue to go left.
follow the drive untill you can turn left again.
you will see the pavilion that was pictured earlier.
parking is in front of it.

DO NOT SPEED!!!!!
through the park grounds. Or down Battleground Rd.

this area his heavily patroled by Precinct 8 constables, Harris County Sherrifs and Park Police.
They will right tickets.
When I was out there hunting for a site, one of the park Rangers noticed I was driving a tad to fast. So he sat at a stop sign and put his radar on me untill I left. the reason I know this is because my radar detector wasn't going off and then after I turned in front of him and got going he flipped it on.
If you want to bring something to eat that is fine. But I plan on eating before I get there. Just planning on hanging out untill it's time to go to the track.
By all means tho if yall want to BBQ go right ahead. there is a pit right there or you can bring your own.
Just remember we need to clean up what ever mess we make.
