I was just about to ask you if you will be able to come down for the meet. I can't remember the actual street that it is on but the street if off of Hwy225. If you are coming from the northside (I-45) then you can follow Beltway 8 east. Stay on Beltway 8 and it will head south past I-10. There is a large bridge, pay toll, and right after the bridge you will hit 225. Now that you are at 225 go left/east. After that you are going to have to get directions from someone else that knows the area.

Did anyone happen to notice that the 9th of May is Mother's Day?

 

What ever happened to SportVortech? I don't see him post in the truck section anymore.

 

its off battleground road and 225. dont know what happened to him, last time i saw him was we were all racin down beltway and he got pulled and thats the last time i saw dino. Maybe we need to change the date if its on mother days.

OK, went out too the San Jacinto Monument today after work, and snap a couple of shots of places to meet at.
lets just say theres not much to choose from.
first spot is over by the Battleship. It has a covered area, and tables. plenty of parking also. It's also right on the water.


Second spot is on the east side of the park. No covered areaa over here just some Picnic tables, and BBQ grills? There is a restroom facility nearby, but thats about it.
Plenty of parking here also.





Let me know what yall think......

 

I think both choices are okay. Did the 1st spot have a restroom nearby? If not I might have to lean towards the 2nd spot because of that reason.

 

hey daniel just make a choice when we get there. Are going to BBQ again or just bring ur stuff.
