Default Texas Weather Sucks

So its nice and sunny out and a nice cool breeze, So I decide to take 2tone out for a little drive. O yea what do you know out of no where a hail storm comes. Aint that some ****. Its all clean and everything is good. Cant drive in the rain really considering it has a whole in the bed for the gas tank and no filter on the blower. So I wasnt planning on ever driving this truck in the rain obviously, but it was either drive it in the rain after the little hail stopped and get it home in the garage or let it sit around while the big hail was about to come through. So ya I had to drive it home in the rain and it sucked. No too much traction throught the 22s on wet streets with a th400, and had to go semi slow so no water got sucked up in the motor. Sorry for the dumb post but I had to let this out.

Yeah, I'm in Denton. The weather was real nice all day and then I'm watching TV and it says there is Sever thunderstorm warnings and tornado watches all over the place. Hope the hail didn't cause any damage to your truck.

Stop whining, Its better than YANKEE land up here with snow still on the ground.

Bad weather at times still beats bad weather all the time. LOL

I know what ya mean. Sunny and warm here then suddenly T-storm warnings and heavy rain/lightning. You gotta watch the weather reports religiously around here!

Nice weather here, but I have to wash my truck every other day to keep the pollen off it. It keeps getting a greenish yellowish tint to it from the pollen.

SWEET!!! I love that color, it mixes with road grime gray so well.

That's a good point but being that I have lived both up north and in Texas for quite a while I can understand what 2toneblown is saying. This place is bizarre, the weather can change on a dime and you can be looking in almost every direction and see blue sky but somehow it will be raining on you. All things considered, it's still better than 8 months of winter.
