Saw the 03 Cobra owner agian! Man they are a awesome car. And I finally saw it. He popped the hood and there it was a chromed out blower that has been ported. Now this is were it gets fishy the upper pulley is 2.75 inches non stock and he also has a larger lower. Now he said his car is pushin 22psi on cold days! with the stock Eaton 112 and is making 572 rwhp with no headers cams nothing just stuff done to the blower! Is that possible to make that much boost with a roots style and still run 93 octane (saw him filling up at Shell gas station) and have no detonation? I thought the reason they installed Kenne Bell blowers and ATI was becasue they are a more efficent blower that can make more boost? Any its still a bad *** car that gets my respect.

 

Porting them is good for about 50 hp. With the pulleys he could be close to that.
