taking apart headlights..

Default taking apart headlights..

hey guys wondering how to open up the head lights on my 02 silverado...
i know ive seen the 03 and up lights opend up to remove the reflecter..the thing is that silicon is hard to pry apart..any ideas will help...

I think most people put there head lights in the oven for 5-10 minutes to soften the silicon so they can easily pry the two halfes apart

pre heat the oven to 250, . . . let it sit for 10 min . . . then it's ready to pull appart

mine were a biatch, had to get them so hot i could barely handle them cause the silicone wasnt budging, almost gave up. so jus keep at it and u will get em..

thanks guys..ima try that over the weekend...
its cus my dilema is that i bought a sert of blackd in the inside headlights..and well needless to say i got wat i payd for..(dont go with ebay) the broke( i broke them) they were all cock_eyed and couldnt get them to straiten up..so yea ima TRY..to get the black plastic thats inside the ebay lights and the clear lens on my stock headlights..(basically just use my stock back pice of my stocks..
