LOL. I don't mind the look though.

The air dam came out in 06. For the Silverado, you can get one for a 2wd or 4wd from LMC. I actually have one in my basement (brand new), but it doesn't match up to my Z71 valance.

i agree that if he is serious, idk what to say about that. my stock one is torn up from scraping on curbs and driveways. just thought i might try something different. of corse no performance would be added by this piece of plastic haha.

Got it on mine, but being a 99-02 makes it an easier swap. Just slipped it on the bottom of the valance, drilled 5 holes and used a couple small bolts, washers, and nuts to hold it in place.

Its called a Air Dam. They are like 50$ at the dealer. You will have to mount it to your bottom Valance creatively. If you do not have the correct valance. Fit my 01 Tahoe the same way like black00chev. Looks good on lowered trucks, but I ditched it when lifted.

An 03 valance has the correct fittings for the lower air dam to clip onto. Otherwise, it's just easier to use self tapping screws to secure the clips to the valance. It does look good on lowered trucks although you will be dragging it on EVERYTHING you drive over or through.

My z71 is only lowered 2/4 and yeah, I have to watch out for curbs and curb stops now.
