Hi guys, Im lookin for ideas for mounting a auto-meter monster tach....any ideas?

 

I'd say on top of the steering column cover, if it won't totally block the other gauges, or somewhere on the dash where it won't block your vision of the road. The a-pillar is another option, but I think that it would look kinda funny with a big tach sticking out in your face like that

Mount it in your hood, not on your hood, with a reverse-mounted Miata popup headlight. Activate the popup with a key on, engine running relay. Or activate it with an rpm switch or a WOT switch, so it only pops up when you need it.

Well im putting a tranny temp gauge on my column and I like the flip up idea sep that's so not in the price range. Im thinkin the dash but don't kno how to mount it to the dash itself. It would only block where my tags and inspection sticker. Thanx for the ideas guys.

 

I have a three pod on the a pillar and i put my tach on the center of the dash angled towards me....

 

Does the after market tach and stock tach read the same
