I've got my T56 in all i need to do is change the front plate, input shaft and the shifter relocation kit(the family loves riding in my truck so i wanna keep my jump set) I'll be ready to install but i do have some questions before that:

I'll be using a camaro bell housing. What starter was did everyone use? The truck starter or camaro starter?

I can get my hands on a LS2 flywheel and LS7 clutch, I know it will bolt up, but again, what starter to use? Maybe go with a LS1 flywheel?

Also, doing the shifter relocation kit, how far back from the bell housing is the hole? I read some where it was 13 or so inches but I cant confirm that information.

I've read through all 109 pages of the Official swap thread but it was never mentioned in there.
