i just picked up a 05 silverado with a 212,xxx mile v6 im wanting to swap in a 5.3 an do a small turbo set up but im kinda new to this sort of swap since i come from a import back ground ( yeah i know) but what is needed can i use my stick trans ? im guessing if i get a complete drop out with harness an pcm it would be pretty staight forward.. any help would be great thanks, an telling me to search is not helping cause i tried..

thanks man thats exactly what i needed i figure it shouldnt take more than a day to get it all in once i get everything together ,

 

Took me about 14 hours total time split between 3 days so if everything is there and you start early i dont see why it cant be done in way less time.
Btw this swap was by far the easiest 6 to v8 swap ive ever done.
