What would it take to swap the gauges and controls from an 05 silverado into a 2000 gmc? I want the DIC, power windows, locks, Mirror, and the whole works. I want to make the 2000 just like an 03+. Has anyone done this?? Please reply!

05 gauges won't work in a 99-02, different electrical systems, even the shape of the cluster is different.

 

I know this, but I was wondering if maybe the dash, wiring harness could be swapped over, or is it a lot of other small things that would make it just rediculous to do? I forgot to mention that I have a donor truck, so everything is there if I need it.
