does tahoes and silverados have the same under the hood lay out...what im trying to ask..would the headers be the same assuming the same year

 

Not sure about the entire "under the hood lay out," but the headers should be the same. At least on the late model trucks. What year are we talking about?

 

03 the obx headers for my truck have that stupid wire burner loop but for the tahoe it dont...and it has a 3" collector...just wandering if they were universal

 

Not sure what the wire burner loop is. Are you talking about the egr? If so, you can just put a block off plate on it. Dynatech and Pacesetter both have the same part number for 2003 silverado and tahoe.

 

He's probably talking about the #6 exhaust pipe on the old style OBX headers. The manifolds are interchangeable. The OBX were a knockoff of the Dynatech first style and had that odd exhaust runner. Dynatech changed there years ago and OBX was recently changed as I recall.

 

DV2000NJ used Tahoe ebay/OBX style headers on his 00 ecsb and they fit like a charm. Like you said, no wire burning hump either

 

has anyone ran the 06 and up kit on there 99-05...they just have the nicer headers and y pipe combo
