What size are you thinking? I don't want to put a damper, but you may loose mileage anyways even if you stay around the same weight. You have to figure in rotating mass, but also contact patch, diameter, etc.... In an ideal world, if you were to stay around the same weight, and overall diameter, you could probably stay the same, but when you go to a wider tire, you'll increase the contact patch of the tire to the ground, it'll give greater traction, but also more resistance. I'm sure I'm not saying anything you didn't already know but still.

Look at this tire/wheel weight list. I don't think your combo is on it but it's something to consider:

Good link, I had seen that but no 17's. I noticed the SS 20" is within about 1 lb of mine, and overall very close too. I was surprised at some of the aftermarket stuff, its pretty heavy...

I really like the detata crosses, in black of course. I also like the American Racing Cartel, in black of course. Maybe I could get some o.e. concepts black z06 motorsprts like i had on the formy, lol. I also just thought about running d&h drag radials on the back all the time, lol.

They're all very nice, probably pretty light too compared to stockers. My only concern with them is they are pretty "open" styling and the rear drums are gonna look kinda silly in there IMHO. Wish GM had kept the rear discs...but then again just another upgrade away...
